

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Ethel and Oliver, brothers Oliver, Robert and Paul. Survived by wife Sally Ann, son Daniel (Jennifer), daughter Geri Michelle Carrier-Schmidt. Grandchildren Lindsay (Matthew) Fienman, Samantha and Thomas Carrier, Alex, Anna and Addison Schmidt; two great-grandchildren Larissa and McKayla Fienman, as well as several close nieces and nephews.
Caring, charismatic and a leader, Jerry was loved and respected by his family, friends and work colleagues. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, family and many friends. His passion for boating and spending time on the water was always shared with those he loved to be with. He and his wife Sally were always very generous in charity support. Jerry was a lifetime member of Oakland Hills County Club where he enjoyed socializing.
Jerry was honorably discharged from the US Army. Most of his career, he spent as owner of Carrier and Gable Inc., a traffic signal control business which he was passionate about. He was an impactful contributor to the industry which will never be forgotten.
His life will be celebrated with a Funeral Mass on Friday January 2, 2015 at 10:30 am with in state 9:30 am at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 27101 W. Chicago (at Inkster Rd.) in Redford.
