With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Gina, who left us peacefully on June 5, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a tender soul whose kindness and compassion touched everyone she met.
Gina and her devoted husband Tony shared 68 wonderful years of marriage—a love built on resilience, laughter, and unwavering support. Together, they came to America when they were just 18 years old, each with one suitcase, not knowing the culture or the language. With courage and determination, they built a beautiful life from the ground up and raised a close-knit family.
She leaves behind her loving husband Tony, her two children, Donato (Raffaella) and Antonetta, her grandchildren Brandon (Sarah), Daniel (Kiley), Alyssa (Nick), Rachel (Kyle), and Luca, and her seven cherished great-grandchildren: Leo, Stella, Aria, Kennedy, Nico, Emilia, and Cameron.
Gina had a heart of gold. She saw the good in everyone and welcomed all with warmth and grace. Her greatest joy was bringing people together around her table. She had an incredible gift for cooking—every dish she made was an expression of her love. Her kitchen was the heart of the home, filled with laughter, stories, and unforgettable meals. Each summer, she took special pride in canning tomatoes by hand, a tradition that fed generations and kept her roots alive.
She was the embodiment of selflessness, always putting others before herself with quiet strength and deep love. Gina also had a timeless sense of style—graceful, elegant, and entirely her own. She found great joy spending winters in Florida with Tony, where she embraced the sunshine, peaceful moments, and time with friends.
She always had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. Her wit, silliness, and gentle humor stayed with her to the very end. She made life lighter for those around her and reminded us all of the beauty in simple kindness.
There truly aren’t many like her. Her love, her legacy, and her spirit will live on in all of us who were lucky enough to know her.
