Harold M. Wilson

Harold M. Wilson, age 79, of Redford Township, Michigan passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Loving father of late William, Robert (Michele), Joseph Wilson, and Barbara (Chris) Hester. Beloved grandfather of Amber, Alicia (Richard), Ashley (Brenton) Burk, Cody, Genna, and Justin. Proud great-grandfather of seven. Dear brother of Evelyn (late Gary) Simon. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Harold was preceded in death by parents Glen and Mabel Wilson, and siblings Glen, Lorn, Marvin, and Dorothy Ferrara.

Harold retired from General Motors Fisher Body Plant in Livonia, Michigan, where he was a lift-truck driver for many years. He was known for his love of movies, telling stories and dad jokes, as well as spending quality time with his family. During his retirement, Harold enjoyed taking trips to Naples, Florida, with his brother Glen.

A visitation will be held Friday, May 3, from 4:00-8:00pm at Harry J Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd., Livonia, MI 48152. Friends and family will continue to gather Saturday, May 4, from 10:00-11:00am, followed by a service beginning at 11:00am. Harold will be laid to rest at Glen Eden Memorial Park.
