Helen Violet (Nee-Koprince) Barton was called home to the Lord on May 6, at age 87. Her beloved husband, James, preceded her in death in 2012. She is survived by, and will be greatly missed by, their five children, Gail (David) Gasser, Charlotte, Brian (K.C.), Jacqueline, and Holly (Joseph) Bohart. Also surviving are grandchildren Valerie (Tom) Foley and Nathan (Mary Elizabeth) Gasser, great-grandchildren Thomas, Eliana, Calina, Allison, Gavin and one sister Esther Natenstedt. Helen was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews and a loving church family. Helen enjoyed reading, puzzles and studying the Bible with others. Visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Harry J. Will Funeral Home in Livonia. Funeral services at the Apostolic Christian Church in Livonia at 10 a.m. Friday, with visitation at the church at 9:30 a.m. Burial at Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia.
