Helen Dimitroff, age 98, of Livonia, Michigan passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024. Helen was born in Bitola, Macedonia on July 26, 1925. Loving mother of Boris (Marilyn) Dimitroff and Katherine (late Lou) Dimitroff-Phillips. Beloved Baba of Chris Dimitroff, Andy Dimitroff, and Elizabeth Dimitroff-Thomson. Proud great-grandmother of Olivia, Nolan, and Nicholas. Dear sister of Luba Neshevich, Mary Apps, and Andrew Vasilevich. Helen was preceded in death by husband Nicholas.
Helen was passionate about cooking and used her food as a way to express her love for her friends and family. She was a proud member of Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church in Livonia, Michigan.
Helen will lie in state Monday, February 12, from 11:00am-1:00pm at Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church, 36075 W Seven Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48152, followed by a service beginning at 1:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Grand Lawn Cemetery, 23501 Grand River Ave, Detroit, MI 48219.
