Helen Jean Phillips

Helen Jean Phillips (Age 83) of Northville passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026 surrounded by family. Helen was born on January 9, 1943 to Charles Hines Sr. and Sophie (Nolencz) Hines of Melvindale, MI. She worked for many years in the automotive and health care industries as a secretary and administrative assistant. Helen had a caring welcoming way befriending everyone she met. Helen loved spending time with family and friends. She also loved traveling and sailing on many cruises with her husband, Clyde, and family. She loved gardening and spending time in her yard tending to her flowers and watching wildlife. Helen was preceded in death by her mother and father, brother Charles Hines Jr., and sister, Cynthia (Hines) Cramer. She leaves behind, Clyde, her loving husband of 55 years and her two children, Rochelle (Dennis) Fletcher, and Jamie (Jamie Marie) Phillips. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Jessica Fletcher, Joshua Fletcher, Jonathan Fletcher, and Brooke Phillips. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Helen will be missed by family and friends.

A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152. Helen’s family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am. A burial will follow at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery in Brownstown, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may consider donations in Helen's memory to the American Stroke Association.
