Jim was the father of our three Wonderful sons.  Caring. Great provider to his family. Not a talkative man unless the Lions were loosing on t.v.  Then he could be pretty vocal! 'Loved his sports. He had pet names for all of us. Matt was 'Carp'. (a fish?) :-) Jeff was 'Ebose Man.' (what's an Ebose?) Ha! Mark was 'Slimey' or 'Eddie go Farb.' Oh my! I was 'Tweet.' We have to admit the names were very endearing. 
We all know he worked for the phone company. One day he was walking up to a home when the swat team appeared to raid the house, telling him to 'get back to his truck.' Scary to think he could have been in the house. He showed acts of kindness to his customers. An elderly man reported his phone was not working and Jim determined all it needed was a battery. He went out and bought some. Jim did not tell us this story the man wrote a letter to the company. God wants us to provide acts of kindness and not boast about them. This was Jim. 'Only the Good die Young.' Jim was Good and too Young. RIP my first love.

Jim will be missed!  The most kind and nicest man I have ever met.  Always welcoming with a smile.  He,  up until a few weeks ago would answer my calls "Well Hello Sunshine!" you could tell there was a smile on his face when you spoke with him.  A friend till the end.  So very happy that he is in paradise now and won't be suffering any longer.  He gave it his all and also am very thankful he didn't suffer long.  The good Lord is holding him now!  Until we meet again......
