Jane Evelyn Sebert was born September 5, 1947, and passed away on April 4, 2021, at the age of 73. Beloved Mother of James Edward (Christina) Sebert, Sharon Marie (Mike) Maloney, and Arthur Lee Sebert. Cherished grandmother of three grandchildren; Brendan Michael Maloney, Nathan James Sebert, and Kyle Mason Maloney. Jane is survived by her sister Jaye A. (Joseph) Bastian, and many nieces and nephews. Jane is preceded in death by her parents Milton C. Richards, Dorothy May (Elmer Lee) Ellis and siblings Jean Kathryn (Richard) Matis.
Jane worked many years as a keypunch operator until she retired. Upon retiring Jane still devoted her time to volunteering in her community and spending time with her wonderful children. In her free time, you could catch Jane watching the Tigers or Red Wings games; she was a true Detroit sports fan! Jane cherished every moment she had when it came to being with her grandchildren, whether she was playing games or watching a movie. In her spare time, Jane would play euchre with her friends or relax by reading, she loved horror books by Stephen King and other novels by James Patterson. Jane will truly be missed by her family and friends.
A memorial visitation for Jane will be held Sunday, April 25, 2021, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM followed by a 1:00 pm memorial service at Harry J Will Funeral Homes, 37000 6 Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48152.
