Jerome “Jerry” William Allen, 64, of Farmington Hills, Michigan, passed away on November 11, 2025. Born on November 4, 1961, in Atlanta, Georgia, Jerry was the beloved husband of Linda Allen, devoted father of Kristina Allen and Jaclyn (Michael) Barill, and a cherished friend to many.
Jerry met the love of his life, Linda, while they were both working at Ford Motor Company. After Jerry asked her on a date, their connection grew quickly, leading to their marriage on March 16, 1991. Together, they built a life full of laughter, love, and adventure that spanned more than three decades.
Jerry began his career at Ford Motor Company in 1985, where he served in a variety of engineering roles over fourteen years. After his time at Ford, he continued to apply his expertise in several automotive supplier companies, working in engineering and manufacturing leadership roles. Jerry joined Bayer Diabetes Care in 2011 as Senior Site Manager, where he oversaw the company’s Indiana plant. He later concluded his career at Tronair as Director-Manufacturing Plant Manager before retiring in 2022.
Outside of work, Jerry’s passions reflected his zest for life. He was an avid sports car enthusiast who loved taking his Corvette for a drive, a golfer who enjoyed a day on the course, an avid University of Michigan fan, and someone who found peace in long walks and bike rides. He especially treasured traveling with Linda and his girls—together they explored numerous destinations across the globe and countless places across the United States.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, John and Esther (Sauls) Allen. His legacy of kindness and dedication lives on in his family and all who were fortunate to know him.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all who shared in the joy of his life.
Jerry’s family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and again on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.
