Joan Hattie Adkins, age 83, of Livonia, Michigan passed away on Thursday December 27, 2018. Joan was born August 17, 1935 to the late Florence and John Schannault.

Joan is survived by her son Joseph Adkins; sister Sarah Griswold; brother John Schannault; and grandchildren Angelina Adkins, Nathan Adkins , Anthony Adkins, Allen and Joshua Costa.

Joan was preceded in death by her beloved husband Gorman Adkins; son David Adkins; and brother Frankie Schannault.

Visitation for Joan will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 9:30am-1:00pm at Harry J Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd, Livonia, Michigan 48152. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 1:00pm at Harry J Will Funeral Home.
