John W. "Buzz" Andree, Jr., 75, passed away peacefully at home on December 3, 2020. Buzz was the youngest child and only son born to John and Clara Andree in Duluth, Minnesota on January 2, 1945. A few years of his boyhood were spent in Duluth until the family moved to Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated from Saginaw Arthur Hill High School in 1963. Buzz spent his career in auto manufacturing with General Motors and retired in his late forties. His favorite hobbies included stamp collecting, woodworking, collectibles, and as a younger man he enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Buzz was a proud UAW member, belonged to the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3677, Sanford Michigan and the Loyal Order of Moose.
Buzz is survived by his son, John W. (Joanne) Andree, III; grandson, Jared Andree; granddaughter, Rachel Andree; sisters, JoAnn Minor and Barbara (Robert) Albrecht, and former wife, Barbara Crevier. Several nephews and nieces also survive.
In addition to his parents, Buzz was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Basil Minor.
Private services were scheduled at this time. In the future, after the pandemic, the family plans a public celebration of Buzz's life.
