John E. Little "Jack"

He was the loving husband of Madeline for 64 years. The beloved father of Patricia Colombo, James (Cecilia) Little, Daniel (Trish) Little, Barbara (Kurt) Bowen and Marie (Ernie) Kabara. The devoted grandfather of Heather Colombo, Roxanne (Frank) LaSusa, Mark (Barb) Colombo, Rhonda (Ben) Sivulka, Lindsay (Rico) Santilli, Mikayla Bowen, Erin (Nick Schilling) Varcoe, Sara Little, Megan Kabara, Kelly Little, Samantha Little, Jack Kabara, and Sean Little and great grandfather of Noah, Sebastian and Sofia. The dear brother of the late Nellie Kornelson, Raymond Little, and the late Bill Little. He was also loved by many nieces and nephews.

Jack was a World War II Prisoner Of War and Purple Heart recipient. He dedicated 32 years to Hoskins Manufacturing in Detroit. He was very active with Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church as an Usher and a member of their Men’s Club. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 345 in Redford and a 3rd Degree Knight with the Livonia Knights of Columbus. In his spare time you could find Jack bowling, working on his garden or cheering on the Tigers.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 4 to 8 pm and Sunday, July 31, 2016 from 1 to 8 pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Road in Livonia. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 10:30 am at St. Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 N. Haggerty Road in Plymouth. Friends may visit the church beginning at 10 am on Monday.
