John Edward Hlavaty, age 93, went home to his Lord on March 1, 2013. He is reunited with his beloved wife, Rita (Shinever), their son, John, and their daughter, Cynthia. John leaves four surviving children, Michael (Diane), Juliann Grebinski, David (Dawn) and Mary (Tom) Toohey. Dearest grandfather of Jodie (Mick) Fundenburg, Monica (Mike) Harper, Correna (Kirk) Monroe, Mia, Ben and Jason Grebinksi, Janeen (Jason) Sperling, Dana (Ian) Gannon and Andrea Hlavaty. Adoring great-grandfather of Joseph, Darian, Mike, Cameron, Chelsea, Payton, Miranda, Landon and Madeline. Dear brother of Shirley Snyder. Funeral Friday, March 8, 2013, in state 9:30 a.m. with Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Kenneth Catholic Church, Plymouth. Visitation Thursday, March 7, 2013 2-7 p.m. at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 W. Six Mile Rd, Livonia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Henry Ford Hospice.
