Joseph Thomas Hadjis

Joseph Thomas Hadjis was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 3, 1966 and was returned Home to be with the Lord on July 10, 2021 at the age of 54. Joseph is survived by mother; Barbara J. Hadjis (nee: Horner), brothers; Thomas J. Hadjis “Timothy”, Michael T. Hadjis and Mark T. Hadjis, special sister-in-law; Elizabeth C. Hadjis (nee: Fritz), nieces; Jenna E. Hadjis and Rachel M. Hadjis and his two special angels; Paige Defoe and Savana Bretzlaff. Joseph is preceded in death by his late father; Thomas A. Hadjis.

Joseph Thomas Hadjis or known as “Joe” to most, was the youngest of four children. He grew up in Redford Township and graduated from Lee M. Thurston High School in June 1984. After graduating, Joe attended the National Institute of Technology studying Electronic Engineering Technology, graduating in July 1986. Joe had a diverse career in the electronics industry. Serving in Aero Space at Ford Aero Space. Serving in the Automotive Industry at Ford Motor Company and eventually in the Biomedical Industry at Terumo Cardiovascular Systems, Quality Management / Failure Analysis of Heart – Lung Bypass Equipment. He had many special interests including music, the guitar, home remodeling and communing with nature. Joe became quite the “Butterfly Whisperer” as he attracted the most beautiful butterflies. Just recently, one rode with him, on his hand while cutting the lawn. He cherished and enjoyed his time with family and friends and enriched our lives with his gifts. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday July 17, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. and visitation will follow from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in honor of Joe’s Life.
