Beloved husband of Michalina for nearly 78 years. Loving father of Christine Wludyka (Ronald), Irene McCool (James), Deborah Sweetapple (Gary). Cherished grandfather of Todd (Jennifer), Gregory (Eva), Ryan, Amy, Jim (Paula), Sheri (Brian) and the late Lori. Great grandfather of Adam, Joseph and Sydney.
Joseph "Joe" was born in Detroit and then as young boy moved to a farm in Poland with his family. While growing up, he loved to farm, read and most of all to sing and he kept people entertained with his strong, melodious voice all throughout his life. Joseph met and married his sweet, dear wife, Michalina, in Poland and the two moved to the USA to begin their life together. After two precious daughters were born, Joe was called to the US Navy during WWII and proudly served his country aboard a LSM in the Pacific. After more than 21 years of marriage, a third dear daughter was born and they were later blessed with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joe had a long career as a baker and in his spare time enjoyed hobby farming and gardening, watching the Detroit Tigers and following the music and sporting events of his grandchildren. What Joe enjoyed most of all, though, was spending time with his beloved family, by whom he will be sorely missed.
