Joseph Peter Troia

Beloved husband of the late Margaret, Joe was the loving father of his three boys, Anthony (Alex), Jeremy (Sara), and Vincent. He was the proud and cherished grandpa ( aka “Tata”) of Benjamin, Giuliana, Emilia, and Charlotte. Joe is also survived by his sister, Marion, along with extended family and many friends who will deeply miss him.

A graduate of Franklin High School in Livonia, Class of 1966, Joe went on to serve his country with honor in the United States Air Force. Following his service, he became a respected journeyman electrician and skilled tradesman with General Motors, where his strong work ethic and dedication earned him the admiration of his colleagues.

Joe was a proud member and (Past) Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Post 3292 in Plymouth. His service and leadership were central to his life. Joe had many friends, to know him was to love him. In his free time, Joe enjoyed golfing, playing poker, reading, and spending time with the family he so dearly loved.

A celebration of Joe’s life will be planned at a later date. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
