June M. Gardiner Piggott

June M. Piggott was born on September 25, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Matthew Harold and Bessie Margaret Gardiner. She passed away on December 25, 2012 in Northville, Michigan at the age of 79.

June was the beloved wife of the late Leonard M.D. Dear mother of Randy (Julie), Kevin (Lori) and Cheryl (Mark) Buckley. Dearest grandmother of Vanessa, Kristina, Thomas, Leah, Michael, Matthew and Andrew and great-grandmother of Alexandra. Loving sister of Nancy (Gordon) Swatkow, Gloria (the late Lenny) Schuiling, John (Monique) Gardiner and the late Harold (Helen) Gardiner.

Family was central to her life. June was an avid volunteer with the Red Cross and Stephens Ministry among others.

The family will receive friends on Monday December 31, 2012 2-8 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd. (east of Newburgh and I-275) in Livonia.

Her life will be celebrated with a Funeral Service on Tuesday January 1, 2012 at 1 pm at the funeral home.

She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Oakland Hills Memorial Park in Novi.
