He was born to Max and Louise (Draper) Morrison on August 30, 1940, in Mt. Vernon, IL and had many childhood adventures with his brother, Lonny D. Morrison, while living in Calumet and Hinton, OK. AFter graduating from Hinton High School, he double-majored in the area of Business at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK. It was during his college career that he married Sharron (Weathers), also from Hinton, and became a father to Jana and Wayne.
After graduating from OSU, he and his family lived in Midwest City and then Oklahoma City. Ford transferred Larry to Dearborn Heights, MI, Memphis, TN, Whittier, CA, and finally to Livonia, MI. It was in Livonia where his third child, Michael, was born.
He traveled to many cities in the US through Ford and he wore a suit and tie daily. He hated the tie. When he left Ford to take on his own business ventures, he held a tie-burning party, making certain to burn all his hated ties except one to wear at more formal events.
He didn't need to wear a tie after he became self-employed at his collision shops, Collex Collision and B&G Auto Body. Believing in the power of education, he proudly attended the college graduations of all three of his children. His own education helped his success with his collision shops. He eventually sold them and retired in 2003.
Larry loved activities with his family. He became a hockey fan and he and Sharron spend many hours in hockey rinks cheering for their sons and grandsons, Aaron and Tyler, in the Detroit area and Canada. They went to many Red Wing games, as well.
He was a lifelong fan of motorsports. He loved cars, building motorcycles, going to sprint car and Indy car races, kart racing, and he and Sharron watched their sons, Wayne and Michael, and grandsons at their racing events. If they weren't racing or at the ice rink, Larry could be found in his recliner with the TV tuned to either a car race or a hockey game.
Loved ones who predeceased Larry are his parents, Lynne D. Morrison, Charlene Peachey, Romilda (Seurer) Weathers, Wayne V. Weathers, and his beloved dogs, Poopsie, Miss Mugsy, and Mr. Mugs.

Sharron Morrison, Jana K. Morrison, Wayne (Barb) Morrison, Michael (Michele) Morrison, Lonny D. (Dottie) Morrison, Aaron (Erica) Morrison, Tyler Morrison, Bella, Sterling, Jaxon, and cousins scattered throughout the US.
