Lorice S. Ghannam

Lorice Shawqi Ghannam was born January 19, 1933 in Ramallah, Palestine, daughter of the late Khalil and Imdallalah George. She passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Monday March 5, 2018, at the age of 85 in West Bloomfield, Michigan.

Lorice was the beloved wife of the late Shawqi Easa Ghannam. She leaves behind to mourn: her loving and devoted children; Adnan, Robert (Helen), Donna (John) and Chris (Trisha); the 10 adoring grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; the families of her late siblings George, Freddy and David George, Helen Ghanaim and Najla Azzouz; as well as the entire Ghannam family.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Basilica of St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, 18200 Merriman Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152 with a Trisagion prayer service to begin at 7:30 PM.

The funeral liturgy will be on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Final viewing at the church will begin at 10am. Lorice will be laid to rest with her husband in Glen Eden Memorial Park Cemetery, Livonia, Michigan.
