Lynn was born in Brooklyn, New York, but raised in Livonia, Michigan, along with her seven siblings. She was in the graduating class of 1967 at Bentley High School in Livonia, MI. She worked as a custodian for twenty-five years in the Plymouth-Canton school district. She has resided in South Lyon, MI for the past 14 years.
Lynn was a devoted, hard working single mother raising her son, Dani, on her own. When her two grandchildren were born, she was an equally devoted grandmother. Family always came first. She was always the life of the party, funny, and the first to laugh, even at herself. Her laugh could fill a room and she was never one to complain. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and close friends. In her retirement years she enjoyed woodworking, reading, and playing games. She had a knack for picking lucky scratch off tickets.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Muriel and Thomas Harris, and siblings, Nancy New, Kathy Carscadden, Joanne Harris, and James Harris.
She is survived by her son, Dani (Sara) Tubbs, grandchildren Cole and Lily Tubbs, siblings Thomas (Patricia) Harris, Kim Rzetelny, and Julie (Dale) Vermilya, and numerous nieces and nephews.
To those left behind, her loss is immense. She will always be remembered for the role she loved best, which was the best mom in the world.
