Marilyn Joan Valera

Marilyn Joan Valera, age 90, of Farmington, Michigan passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021. Marilyn was born April 9, 1931 in Indianapolis, Indiana to her parents, John and Tressa. Beloved wife of Ray Valera. Loving mother of Jeriel (Kim) Heard, Jeffrey (Chantay) Heard and Jay (Tracey) Heard. Dear grandmother of the late Jeriel, Christopher, Alec, Brittany and Erin. Dearest great-grandmother of Carter, Caleb, Cayce and Jolie. Cherished aunt and sister.

Marilyn is described by her family as "woman of the world", she was an excellent cook and great dancer. She loved her family and especially loved taking on the role as grandma and great grandma. She will be deeply missed.
