Beloved son of Christian A. Sucoe III and the late Anna R. Sucoe. Dearest brother of Jennifer (Bruce) Mielke and the late Christopher (late Jan) Sucoe. Loving uncle of Matthew (Angela) Mielke, Andrew Mielke, Hannah (Zach) Swartz and great uncle of Violet Mielke, Leo Mielke, Ellie Mielke, and Beau Swartz.
Mark worked as a NICU nurse at the UVA Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia but he began his working career at Meijer and was a loyal employee for 16 years. Mark was highly intelligent; During high school he excelled in math and loved showing off that he knew the first 32 digits of PI. Mark had an ear for music and played 1st chair in the John Glenn band and orchestra. He also played in the John Glenn Marching Band. He had an affinity for classical music and was self-taught on the guitar.
Mark enjoyed sports and was an avid Detroit Tigers Fan. He was also an outstanding football player and his family felt he was good enough for the pros. However, his heart was drawn to helping children. Mark completed a 4 year nursing program in 2 years. He applied and was accepted to the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville and worked in the Neo Natal Intensive Care Unit.
Above all, Marks passion was his family. He simply loved being a son, brother and an uncle to Violet, Leo, Ellie, and Beau. He is loved and missed by all.
