Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mary Jane Nilsson, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2025. She was 92 years old.
Mary Jane is survived by her husband Bill and three children, Cindy along with her husband Roger; Jim along with his wife, Liz; and Rick along with his wife, Cindy. She was also a loving grandmother to Nick, Chris, Katie and Michael as well as a Great Grandmother to Samuel, Charlotte, Cali, Benjamin and Juliana.
Mary Jane is also survived by her brother Jerry and his wife Carol along with their two children Michael and Leigh-Ann. She is also survived by her niece, Kathy and nephew Matt along with many close relatives and friends in the Detroit area.
Mary Jane had a love for music and singing. Her participation in many choirs and theater performances brought great happiness to her life.
A viewing will be held at Henry J. Will funeral home, 37000 W. Six Mile Rd, Livonia MI on Thursday, June 12th from 3 to 8 pm. A Mass will be held on Friday, June 13th at 11:00 am, at St Sabina Catholic Church 25555 Ann Arbor Trail, Dearborn Heights, MI.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations in Mary Jane’s memory to St Sabina Catholic Church.
