AVIS DE DÉCÈS

Michael Allen Bauman

16 juin 1947 – 24 décembre 2025
Avis de décès de Michael Allen Bauman
AUX SOINS DE

Harry J Will Funeral Homes

Michael Allen Bauman, born June 16, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan, joined his parents George and Betty Bauman, his parents-in-law Grace and Harold Irvine, and his siblings Cynthia Bauman, Bonnie Prince, and Peggy Byrd in Heaven on December 24, 2025, at the age of 78.

At the foundation of his life was his wife, Irma Lynn Bauman. When Michael moved to a house just one door down from Irma’s at the age of 7, it marked the beginning of an everlasting bond that defined love, loyalty, and dedication for more than 60 years. Throughout that time, Michael and Irma strove to care for each other and give each other the best possible life together.

With their marriage, Michael became the father to Kimberly Lempicki and Brian Bauman (Jennifer); the grandfather to Zachary Lempicki (Amanda), Justin Recio (Jennifer), and Riley Bauman; and the great-grandfather to Adalynn Recio, Landon Lempicki, Andrew Recio, and Emma Lempicki. He was also the eldest brother to Arthur Bauman and William Bauman (Valerie), and had several nephews, nieces, and cousins whom he loved dearly.

Throughout his life, Michael was known by family and friends as a likable, hard-working, and respected individual. He started out as a mechanical engineer at Nukolt, but eventually founded his own business, Bauman Design Services, which he built with the help of his son Brian.

In his spare time, Michael enjoyed trips to Tennessee with Irma to visit friends, going on motorcycle rides, and braiding the hair of his daughter Kimberly. He was an avid bowler for 40 years, achieving a high game of 298—a passion he passed down to his grandsons Zachary and Justin. Michael also loved cheering on his granddaughter Riley at her sporting events and their weekly visits to watch The Voice. He especially took pride in Riley’s hard work to become a registered nurse, affectionately giving her the title of “his registered nurse.”

Above all, Michael always put the needs of others before himself, a quality that made him a truly special patriarch of our family. He will be dearly missed by all the family and friends who had the blessing of knowing him throughout his incredible life.
