Mike Tjilos

Mike (Mihalis) G. Tjilos was born in Tropaia, Arkadias, Greece on May 10, 1931. Mike passed away at age 90 on November 26, 2021. Dear son of the late George and Marina Tzilos and brother of the late Ioannis Tzilos (Golfo). Beloved husband of the late Maria Palazis-Tjilos. Loving father of daughter Carmen (Kenneth) Tsilos-Huston, son George (Chrissi) Tjilos, and the late daughter Peggy Kefallinos-Palombo. Cherished grandfather of Lindsey Lehtonen (Matthew), Kenny Huston (Starea), and Kristine Murphy (Dave), Maria, Michael and Sofia Tjilos, Maria Houstoulakis (Menas), Nikki and Yanni Kefallinos, and Antonio Palombo. Dearest great-grandfather of Julian and Isaiah Lehtonen, Lucas and Brynlee Huston, Ava Rose Murphy, and Giannis Houstoulakis. Mike was also uncle to many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews here in Michigan, Florida, Illinois, Canada, and Greece. He was blessed with a full life. He loved and was loved back by his large family and many friends. May his memory be eternal. Καλό ταξίδι και καλό παράδεισο, πατέρα, παππού, θείε, και φίλε.

Visitation Tuesday, November 30, 2021, from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Trisagion at Harry J Will Funeral Home in Livonia. Funeral service Wednesday, December 1, 2021, In-state: 10:30 am, Funeral service: 11:00 am at Nativity of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church: 39851 Five Mile Rd., Plymouth, Mi. Committal service to follow at Parkview Memorial Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
