

Norman Wildauer, 72, of New Bern passed away Saturday, August 20,2022, at his home. He was born August 15, 1950, in Detroit, MI to the late August and Elvira Sonntag Wildauer. Norman was baptized into the kingdom of God in September of 1950.
Norman married Leslie Raddatz on November 24, 1973. Norman graduated from Lutheran High School West in Detroit in 1968 and from Michigan State University in 1973. Norman worked as a truck driver, restaurant manager, and insurance salesman/financial consultant. He enjoyed fishing and camping and cheering hard for the Indianapolis Colts. Norman loved people and was devoted to serving others. He was a lifelong member of The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Havelock, NC.
Norman is survived by his wife; four children, Michael (Noel), Tacie (Steve) Cullingford, Weston (Sarah), and Alan (Jackie); nine grandchildren, Charlie Lewis, Luke, Emily, and Madeline Wildauer, Cale and Casen Cullingford, and Kaelyn, Owen, and Eva Wildauer; brothers, Charlie (Cheryl) Wildauer and Leonard (Kateri) Wildauer; sister-in-law Beverly Wildauer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Gretchen, and his brother Byron Wildauer.
Norman was a loved husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Visitation will be from 9am until 11am Tuesday August 30, 2022, at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church in Livonia, MI. Funeral service will follow at 11am with Rev. Daniel Potts officiating. Burial will take place at Glen Eden Cemetery in Livonia.
Memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association and to Concordia Seminary.
