Patricia "Patty" L. Kovach

Patty was the beloved wife of Jim Kovach, sharing 54 wonderful years of love and laughter. She was a devoted mother to Matthew (Jennifer) Kovach and a proud grandmother to Ryan Kovach, as well as Gabrielle, Carter, and Dominic Swider. She also leaves behind her dear brother, Walter Naras Jr.

She is reunited in heaven with her parents, Walter and Veronica Naras, her son, Michael Kovach, and her brother, Richard Naras.

Patty had a passion for life’s simple joys. She loved shopping and could always find the best deals, whether for herself or thoughtful gifts for her loved ones. She had a beautiful voice and sang in the St. Edith Church choir for many years, finding great joy in music and the friendships she made there. Above all, she treasured time with her grandson Ryan, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond—they were truly best friends. Whether playing games, sharing stories, or simply enjoying each other’s company, their time together was priceless.

Family and friends are invited to gather in her honor on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan.

A visitation at the church will take place on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at St. Edith Catholic Church, 15089 Newburgh Rd, Livonia. Patty will be laid to rest at Parkview Memorial Cemetery.

She will be dearly missed and forever remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with those around her.
