Livonia, Michigan: Patricia “Patti” Adele Sullivan was born August 9th, 1942 in Denver, Colorado to Letitia “Tish” and Jack Driscol. She cherished her husband of 54 years and her time with family and friends. She passed away on January 26th at peace, following a hard-fought battle with cancer that spanned over 25 years.
It was a privilege to be in her presence as she was always trying to make others feel appreciated and unconditionally loved. She was self-less and always put others needs ahead of her own. She lived a truly authentic life. If you knew Patti, she was filled with tough love, kindness, humor and positive thoughts. She lived each day as if it were a God-given gift and also found light where ever there was darkness. And she was so grateful to God for every day she lived.
“People may not remember what you did or what you said, but they will always remember the way they made you feel” – Maya Angelou. Those who knew Patti would agree that she exemplified this beautiful quote.
Her family includes her loving husband, Michael Sullivan, her two daughters, Colleen Brzezinski (Tom), Kathy Hein (Kurt) and son Tim Sullivan (Elliott). She is also survived by her seven grandchildren: Adam, Jack, Erin, Nathan, Nicholas, Alyssa and Addison.
The family would like to give special thanks to the outstanding medical care she received over the years from Providence hospital, nurses and physicians.
