Phyllis Marie Nofz

Phyllis Marie Nofz, age 85, of Livonia, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. Survived by her two sons: Kurtis Nofz, and Robert (Melanie) Nofz, II; her nine grandchildren: Brittany Nofz, Remington Santos, Isaac Santos, Erika Nofz, Robert Nofz, III, Cooper Nofz, Nathan Nofz, Nickolas Nofz, and Derek Nofz; and siblings: Barbara Houchins, June Jacobs.

Phyllis was born April 1, 1939, in Detroit, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. William and Stella (Golich) Kravick. She and Robert Allan George Nofz shared many wonderful years of marriage before Robert’s passing on November 7, 2009. Phyllis devoted many years of her professional life to a career as an executive secretary. She worked at several businesses over the years, most notably the United Auto Workers. In her retirement she volunteered at Providence Park Hospital gift shop. In her free time, Phyllis could always be found working in her garden at her home in Livonia, or spending cherished time with family and friends. Some of Phyllis’s fondest memories were made traveling the Great Lakes on the boat she owned with Robert; they loved exploring with family and friends. She was a remarkable woman who will be dearly missed.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, William and Stella; her husband, Robert; and her brother, William Kravick.

A Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 am on Monday, June 10, 2024, at St. Priscilla Catholic Church, 19120 Purlingbrook Street, Livonia, Michigan 48152. Phyllis’s family will receive visitors at the church on Monday from 9:30 am until the time of Mass at 10:00 am. In accordance with Phyllis’s wishes, cremation will follow; and an inurnment with her dear husband Robert will take place at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens in Novi at a later date. Those desiring may consider contributions in Phyllis’s memory to Angela Hospice in Livonia, as a thanks for all their care and compassion.
