Raymond J. Kusza

Growing up in Metro Detroit, Raymond began his career working as a teacher, first at St. Andrew and then at Divine Child High School. Following his career in Education Raymond moved into the automotive industry. He worked at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn in various managerial positions for 30 years. In his free time Raymond loved the outdoors. He had a love of hunting, boating and fishing. He was also a lifelong fan of the University of Michigan Wolverines.

Raymond was the beloved husband of Sylvia for 47 years. Dear brother-in-law of Rose, the late Chester, and John Filipkowski. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Raymond's family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday October 2, 2016 from 3-8 pm, with Scripture Services 7 pm, at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd. (east of Newburgh and I-275) in Livonia.

His life will be celebrated with a Funeral Mass on Monday October 3, 2016 at 11 am at St. Aidan Catholic Church, 17500 Farmington Rd. (north of Six Mile Rd) in Livonia. He will be laid to rest by his parents at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Southfield, Michigan.
