I truly appreciate his kind words. When I was 13, 14, Rick let me be his sound man at winter camp. For you see he knew I was just a kid and my parents got Divorced when I was 7. Birthdays didn't mean much to me. He was friends with my brother, Jacque. I learned he had a Special Gift. This morning December 1st, 2021, I was Singing, The Truth Will Set You Free. Indeed, I have been singing since I was just 10. I'm a professional Gospel Singer. By Spring of 2022, I will have this Song, He is Strong, go National. Yes Jesus Loves Me. Believe Him Today. Don't Wait! Rick wants to see you Guys and Gals. When We All Get To Heaven.......

I just woke up this morning to my radio and a preacher on the radio mentioned a song he sang at my church Open Door in New Bedford, MA, many years ago "Something Beautiful, Something Good"
And I had to look him up online and here I am. Yet many years since past. So sorry for your loss. He brought encouragement of the Lord to our church. What a blessing. 



I remember Rick visiting my church in East Longmeadow, Mass. I still have one of his tapes with my favorite song. "He looked beyond my faults and saw my need." We'll meet again some day brother with Him in Glory.

So sorry to learn of Rick's passing.  His music still blesses me.  I have 6 of his tapes, worn and old.  He visited my Church in Northampton, MA

I'm remembering Rick when he came to Calvary Baptist Church in Willingboro, NJ. I still have his tape and am listening to it as I type this e-mail. I'm very thankful to have met him and I know now he's in Heaven singing to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ," The Day HE Wore My Crown".

We just heard that Rick passed away. We have lots of memories from years ago and wish to send our sympathy to his family.

I'm so sorry to hear about Rich.  I use to be his neighbor in Detroit and he was very good friends with my brother Johnny who also passed away years ago.  I know this is a diffult time for the family.  Going through all the pictures and seeing that he was loved by his family made me feel good. Remembering his voice when he would sing at Temple, Always had a kind word for all that he would talk to. He will be missed but praise be to God he is home free. My prayers are with his family!

I remember him from the youth rallies he was a guest musician at from time to time.  He lived next door to a gal I dated 30 years ago.  He was a great singer and played the guitar good and had the attetion of all the youth back then.

Worked with Rick at First Baptist of N.C., DE. for several years and then had him to come and sing for us several times.  Went on Vacation with Rick & Nancy to Hawaii & Bahama's.  Trips to New York, Florida, and other places were all Crazy times.  Going with Rick was always on the "cheap", working with him was "nuts", Going on a trip together "crazy", playing golf with Rick, "Priceless"

I didnt know Rick real well in a personal sense but when we first joined old Temple, Rick's music ministry was very powerful and prominent. He was a great story teller too. We bought one of his albums and we played it quite a bit around our children. I recall the song "thanks to Calvary, we dont come here anymore" Great tune and great guy.

When I was a teen, his ministry -both in music and preaching -had a great impact on me. Praying for your family....

We met Rick in 1981 in our small church in CT. He immediately took to my daughter and was a good friend to the family for years since. I have great memories of him at Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Danbury, CT also!. The greatest gesture I will always remember and hold dear in my heart was when Rick showed up at our church in Georgia so unexpectedly. It was such a surprise to see him after relocating from CT. I enjoyed his fellowship at dinners at our home and teaching some of his children in my SS classes when they came with their dad. When I heard of Rick's passing I immediately heard him singing "Welcome Home Children". The Old Violin will always be my personal favorite. Praying for his family's loss. Rick was such a kind-hearted, talented, and funny man.  I have great memories serving with him at NorthRidge Church....he always told the best stories and never failed to make me laugh.  Such a huge loss for this earth, but such a great gain for the Kingdom of Heaven.  Rest in peace, my friend.
