Richard H. Wykoff

Richard is preceded in death by his beloved wife Josephine (d. 2015), with whom he shared 64 years of marriage, his sister Alta (Robert), and brother Asa (Ann). He was a devoted father to four children, Nora (James) Hockenberry, Debbie (Richard) Muncy, Mary Jo (Ronald) Bedro, and Richard (Jane) Wykoff. He was a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren, David (Charles), Scott, Christopher (Jacqueline), Steven (Elizabeth), Kelly (Connor), Lauren (Jacob), Ashlee (Chaz), Nicholas; and a cherished great-grandfather to six great-grandchildren, Luke, Tanner, Ryan, Hannah, Charlotte, Emmett, and one more on the way. Richard took great pride in the generations that followed him. His love for family was constant and unwavering.

A respected business leader, Richard served as President of Hydromation, a global filtration company. Through his vision, integrity, and steady leadership, he helped guide the company’s growth. He attended Lawrence Institute of Technology.

Richard lived a long, full life marked by hard work, perseverance, and quiet generosity. He enjoyed golf, woodworking, and spending time with his friends and family on Secord Lake and in Boynton Beach, Florida. He was known for his strong values, his wisdom, and his ability to fix anything. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the family he so dearly loved.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 1, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48152. A rosary and sharing of memories will begin at 5:00 pm.

An in state will be held on Monday, February 2, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at St Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 N Haggerty Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170, followed by a funeral mass beginning at 11:00 am.

Richard will be laid to rest with Josephine at Parkview Memorial Cemetery.
