As a child she enjoyed playing outdoors with friends and family outings including skating, sledding, and tobogganing her favorite. She was bright and was able to advance a year in school. She met Norbert when she was 14. She attended Fordson High School in Dearborn and graduated at 17. She excelled in math and her aptitude would be rewarded throughout her life. Rose Marie and Norb were married July 1, 1951. In November of 1953 a daughter Karen was born and in December 1954 a second daughter Pam was born into the family.
She loved serving as a Bluebird and Campfire Leader and was the Cheerleader Mom when Norb coached little league football. Rose Marie and Norb loved to host parties and gatherings at their home. Many family celebrations and holidays were held at their home. She was a perfectionist and worked to balance statements and budgets perfectly, and her checkbooks. She worked as a Bookkeeper/Accountant at Milson Chard Tax firm and loved her work at the Law Offices of Rubenstein Isaacs. She also enjoyed maintaining lifelong friendships and served on her Fordson High School Reunion Committee for many years.
Rose Marie took pride in her home, it was clean and organized, but her yard was her passion, she always had beautiful flowers and bushes and loved sharing them with others. She loved her family and was devoted to them, including aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins and she would spend as much time as possible with them.
