Many good years of fun and laughter around the Carlton residence.  A place us kids were always welcome with Rosey eggin' on the shenanigans.   She has left a positive memory on my heart.  God bless and may she find peace in the next life too.  Sent with love and remembrance. 

I have so many great childhood memories of Ray & Rosie’s house in Livonia.  They always welcomed all of Tracey’s friends.  I loved sitting around the kitchen table with them and talking.  I loved how they were both interested in what you were doing, making you feel welcome and always feeding us! Rosie had the best laugh and had a great sense of humor!  Thank you Rosie for introducing me to QVC! We will miss you Rosemary.

 

From sewing bells on our dresses, talking to me in the mornings while the bestest friend sleeps till noon, or giving me a new drink when I take my ice cube from cooling my tomato soup and putting it in my milk, not a good idea but she always new just how to make things better.  Rosie always had a smile on her face and a heart to make me feel loved when I wasn’t home.  She is a part of so many of the greatest memories of my childhood.  Love you Rosie 

I have so many fond memories growing up on Gardner Street, and the “rock” of where we would hang out most was Rosie’s house….that’s what she told me to call her back then, Rosie, even at the age of 6, because she “didn’t want to feel old”….so we did, the whole neighborhood.   She was always so funny, had an incredible laugh, and a little naughty too.   Back then in the summers we just ran in the neighborhood, played hide and seek at night, and more often than not we ate all lunch at Rosie’s or hid in her bushes.   So many days I found myself in Donnie’s room while my sister was in Tracy’s room because it was the coolest house to hang out in.  We stopped there on the way to elementary school every morning.  It was often loud, and a little crazy on those mornings, but she was funny and so much fun.   The first time I ever played golf Rosie made me a set of extra clubs and followed behind me and Donnie to just make sure we were ok at Oasis on the course….I still remember that day like it was yesterday.    I was Rosie’s paperboy for 6 years, and she would often invite me in to warm up from the cold Michigan winters, always kind, warm hearted, so funny and a little naughty. 

 So many fond memories growing up in the 70’s on Gardner, and Rosie you helped all us kids enjoy it to the fullest.   Tracy, Donnie, me, my sister, Mike, Paul, Kelly, Michelle, Angie, Nicklaus, John and Lisa.  What a blast Rosie, you helped give us all summers and memories we will never forget! 

God Speed Rosie…we will miss you and cherish your love for kids and fun forever!

Although it has been years since I’ve seen Rosie (not always my fault incidentally), she left quite an impression on impressionable teenagers. 
As a father of now 3, I recall her ability to influence us quite fondly and now leaves me in certain awe. You always want your children and their friends comfortable to hang out in your house- in this she and Ray were masters. 
We spent countless hours either in her presence or with her presence surrounding us, and I attest we are all better for it. Her laugh was legendary, never to be forgotten, and she knew every card trick in the book.
Rest in peace, Rosie, You certainly left this world a better place.

Sending healing prayers and comforting hugs to the family of Rosebud. Her loss will be felt forever. She will not only be remembered for her love for her children and family but also Christmas! 

Rosemary’s vast and extensive collection of Christmas 🎄 is by far one of the most magical things I have ever experienced. I hope you find patience in this time of ordeal and carry on her legacy further by continuing her life’s work of decorating for the Christmas season. 🤶🏻 She was such an inspiration to many.

Her spry demeanor was always a welcomed addition to any conversation that Tracey and I were having. She is a good judge of character plus had helpful advice and insight in a variety of topics. Her intelligence and experience in an array of situations  certainly made for lively discussions. 

Again, I am sorry for your loss-she will truly be missed.
