Roy Augustus Koch III

Roy was an avid sports fan, particularly baseball which he played in High School. He followed the sport closely throughout his life. He often wore a Yankees cap and supported the Detroit Tigers. He had a passion for collecting various things, but his main passion in life was his family. He served as a role model for those who knew him and will be deeply missed.

Roy was the beloved son of Marie (Chuck) Gliga and the late Roy Koch Jr. Cherished life partner of Michaelangelo Salcedo for over 31 years. Loving father of the late Rachael Lea Tackett, Ryan Neil Koch and Ann Marie Greenlee. Proud grandfather of Rachael Lea, Cody and Kaitlyn. Dear brother of Cynthia Meekins, David (Debra) Koch, James (Lynn) Koch, Christopher (Jeanette) Koch, Melissa (Richard) Ward and Jennifer (Scott) McCarty and step-brother of Sherri (Mark) Pelts, Laurie (Steve) Willis and the late Christine Humm. Roy also leaves to cherish his memory many loving nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was a friend of Bill for 14 years.

Roy's family will receive friends for visitation on Monday January 11, 2016 from 2-8 pm, with a Rosary Service in the evening, and on Tuesday January 12, 2016 from 10 am until the time of his Funeral Service, 11 am, at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd. (east of Newburgh and I-275) in Livonia.
