Salwa Fuad Naser

Beloved wife of the late Fuad Aziz Naser. Loving mother of Jad (Fariba) Naser, Teri Ayoub, Lina Ayoub, and Aziz Naser. Dear grandmother of Jennifer, Jack, Tiffany, Andrea, Felicia, Raji, Fuad, Amir, Nicollette, Fuad, and Trevor. Proud great-grandmother of Ella, Adrianna, Eden, Ariya, Randy, Ophelia, and Mikey.

Salwa is survived by her siblings, George, Aida, Muntaha, and Nimeh. Preceded in death by her parents, Naser and Nimeh Shatara, and her sisters, Gorgette and Jamileh.

Salwa’s life was a testament to love, strength, and unwavering dedication to those she held dear. She will be remembered for her kindness, grace, and the countless ways she touched our lives.

The Naser family will receive friends for a visitation on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, from 5:30pm until 7:30pm with a 7:00pm Trisagion Prayer at the St Mary Orthodox Basilica, 18100 Merriman Rd., Livonia, Michigan 48152.

A final viewing will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, also at St Mary Orthodox Basilica. Her life will be celebrated with a Funeral Liturgy beginning at 11:00am. The service will be led by Father George Shalhoub.

Salwa will be laid to rest next to her husband, Fuad in Glen Eden Cemetery, Livonia, Michigan.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Miriam Center on behalf of the Naser family.
