Stephen Anthony Paszek, II

Stephen Anthony Paszek, II of Livonia, Michigan, was born October 24, 1944 and passed away on March 15, 2021. Beloved husband of Lorri (nee Stonina). Cherished father of Amy Jo Burmeister, Stephen A. Paszek, III, Megan Paszek and Elizabeth Paszek. Loving grandfather of Stephen A. IV "Gage", Bryant, Zoe and Evie. Dear son-in-law of Mildred Battaglia and close cousin of Philip Frantz. World's best dog dad of Mandy and the late Maggie.

Stephen is preceded in death by his twin brothers Ronald and Donald and his parents Stephen Anthony Paszek and Doris Paszek.

Stephen met the love of his life, Lorri, in a round-about way. They were letter writing pen pals for years while Stephen was overseas serving his country in the U.S. Army. They finally met face-to-face in December 1969. They were engaged January 24, 1970 and wed on July 24, 1970.

Stephen was an avid sports fan. His favorite team was the Detroit Red Wings. On TV, he was drawn to old westerns, e.g. Bonanza, and The Lone Ranger. He loved jigsaw puzzles and reading in his spare time, as well as gardening in the spring and summer. He looked forward to riding his bike to the Livonia Spree, making corny Dad jokes, and sneaking leftovers in the middle of the night. Steve escaped his crowded household every fall when deer season opened.

Family and friends may visit from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. (with a Rosary Recitation at 7:00 p.m.) on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 West Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152. A private committal service will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia, Michigan on Friday, March 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
