Suzanne Rae, age 70, passed away on January 13, 2018. Cherished daughter of Arthur Nicholls and the late Lois Lemley. Beloved wife of the late George Lee. Loving mother of Casey (Michelle), Clover, Matille, Gabriel, and George. Cherished grandmother of Luke, Gerard, and Philomena. Also survived by brothers, Lawrence (Anna) and Jeffrey (Natsuko), and Sisters-in-Law, Madelon (Marc) Possley and Dianne Thebolt.
Suzanne was a devout Catholic and her faith brought her peace. She loved her career as a teacher. She was an avid reader and also spent time gardening, crafting, and cooking. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and her dear miniature dachshund, Chili.
Visitation Thursday, January 18, from 3-9pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd, Livonia. Funeral Mass Friday, January 19 , at 10am (in-state 9:30) at Assumption Grotto Church, 13770 Gratiot Ave, Detroit. In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated to Assumption Grotto Church or March for Life Education and Defense Fund.
