Terry Rose O'Connell

Terry Rose O’Connell (nee Buatti), 91, passed away peacefully on May 6th, 2025. Wife of the late Patrick, and beloved mother of Kevin (Sherry), Brian (Elizabeth), and Darrin. Proud grandmother of Carson. Terry is also survived by sisters-in-law Rosemary and Dee, many nieces and nephews, and several dear cousins. Terry was very proud of her Italian heritage, and she truly loved her family and her many, many friends. After her auto accident in 2017, she continued to reach out to people with beautiful cards and notes to let people know she was thinking of them. Terry was blessed to be able to stay in her home thanks to loving caregivers who became like family, including Gail, Jessie, Lashawn, Linda, Liz, Melissa, and Tywone.In Terry’s memory, please send a card or note to someone you care about.

Terry will lie in state on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 9:00AM to 9:30 AM at St. Aidan Church, 17500 Farmington Rd. Livonia, MI 48152 followed by a funeral mass, burial, and a luncheon at the parish hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, Wounded Warriors, or the ASPCA.
