Mark, Gary and Larry,
I am so sorry to hear that your mother has passed away.  I wish that I had known in time to come to the funeral today.  My mother would have liked to have been there too.  I will share this sad news with her tonight.  I will also let George and Cindy know. Your mother and father were very dear friends to my parents and we all have wonderful memories of them.  Your mom was especially sweet, kind and helpful to everyone.  Someone to emulate for sure! Thinking of her always brings a smile to my face.  I pray that God will give you peace and comfort in the knowledge that she is finally home in heaven (and with perfect hearing!)

To Mark, Gary, & Larry, I send my warmest wishes that you will be comforted at this time of loss by the memories of a wonderful mother, and by the realization that she is now in the presence of our Heavenly Father.  She was a very caring and attentive aunt to me, always remembering my birthdays and staying in touch as long, as she was able to do so.  I only regret that, being more than 1,500 miles away, in Texas, I was not able to visit her recently, and that I will not be able to be there to celebrate her life with you on Thursday.  May God bless and keep you!

Your Mom was a person who influenced many lives.  Grandma Chapman to our children.  A GREAT lady.

Veronica has been a wonderful , positive role model, friend and neighbor as I was growing up.  She and  Bob and mom and dad were best friends!  I personally remember all the times she watched our kitty cat while we were on our family vacations.  I remember holiday open houses at Chapman's and then all the good food she always provided both at church and to neighbors!  Most of all, the tireless  years of hard work that she endlessly gave to help build and keep alive the Rice Memorial Methodist Church family will always be held dear.  One wonderful Christian soul that will surely be missed.

May the memories of your mother help to comfort all of you and your families.  She was a wonderful person and her life story was amazing.  I can only imagine her happiness being reunited in heaven.   I still remember going to lunch and that she insisted on having us over for cake (that she had made just for us).  Love to all.  Mike & Judy Cordon (The Villages, FL)

She was certainly a very fine woman. How good it is to know that she believed in Christ our Lord and sought to follow Him, so that she now has finished her journey here and gone on to be with Him and to meet again  her departed husband Bob, my departed wife Virginia, and many others who like her will be in the everlasting peace, joy and abundant life that awaits all true believers..
