Virginia Ehlert

Virginia was a woman of boundless generosity and kindness. She loved to shop, often not for herself but to bring joy to others. A skilled and passionate crafter, she found pleasure in creating, cooking, and baking for family and friends. Her love for nature and the outdoors was evident in her fondness for camping, gardening, and fishing, which brought her great joy throughout her life.

In recent years, Virginia resided at Darling Assisted Living, where she formed a special bond with fellow resident Olivia, who brought great comfort and friendship to her.

Virginia’s legacy lives on through her loving family. She is survived by her five children: Charles (Patricia) Ehlert, Sandra (Arthur) Biskner, Keith (Sherrie) Ehlert Michael (Lisa) Ehlert, and Jaqueline (Russell) Price. Her memory will also be cherished by her grandchildren: Melissa (Forest) Whitson, Kimberly (Dave) Diebler, David (Krystal) Price, Rebecca (Jon) Cheslock, Paul Price, Michael (Stacie) Ehlert, Rachel Ehlert, and Kevin (Alora) Ehlert, as well as her 14 great-grandchildren.

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles W. Ehlert Sr., and her beloved siblings: Florence Soelz, Bertha Forfa, Carl Sass, Dolores Biernat, Dorothy Sass, Margaret Liberty, Berniece Palmer, and Robert Sass.

Her family suggests that memorial donations be made to them in her honor, to carry forward her legacy of care and generosity.

Virginia’s warmth, kindness, and love for life will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
