Predeceased by her late first husband Harold (1994) and firstborn son, Steven (2014).
Ann is survived and will be missed by her second husband Ian Cooper. She is lovingly remembered and will be missed by her children Julie (Rob), Claire (late Todd), Brent (Toni), her brother David (Janis), grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Ann loved people and spoke to everyone. She was the smiling, welcoming face of her recent retirement community. She was kind-hearted and touched many lives with her strength, courage, and kindness.
She was known to many as “The Butterfly Lady” for her great love of butterflies and the pleasure their beauty brought her.
Ann would want all who knew and loved her to have their memory of her be a happy one with an afterglow of smiles with memories of happy times, laughing times, and bright and sunny days.
Special thanks to the staff at Masonville Manor and her more recent home of Horizon Place for their always helpful and kind care.
Donations in honour of Ann’s memory can be made to The Salvation Army at salvationarmy.ca
