Passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 98 on May 18, 2014 at the Dearness Home in London. Beloved wife of the late Fred Shaw. Loving mother of John Shaw. Dear sister of Heldwig Gonzales from Chicoutimi Quebec and Gertrude Bender of Germany. Dearest friend of Mary Ann and Norm Smith, Florence Dawes, Berniece Sadecky and Gerd Kaltenecker all of London as well as her friends at the German-Canadian Club. A special thank you to all the staff at Birch Walk/Dearness Home for taking exceptional good care of Anna .Friends may call at the Needham Funeral Home (520 Dundas St., London) on, Wednsday from 3-7 pm with Prayers to be held at 6:30. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday May 22, 2014 at St. Andrew The Apostle Church ( 1 Fallons Lane, London) at 10 am. Cremation to follow.
