

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, at The Elliott Community in Guelph, on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in his 96th year. Loving husband of the late Marion (nee Illman, 1991), and loving father of Jim (Brenda) Seager and Jan Seager Hamilton, of Guelph. Treasured grandfather of Matthew Seager (Kim) of Toronto. Fondly remembered by longtime friend Marie Knepflar. Born in Dunnville, Ontario, and raised in Stratford, Art proudly served in the RCAF, stationed in Mont-Joli, Quebec. After his service, Art came to London, Ontario where he spent many happy years working at Jones Box and Label and then teaching at H.B. Beal Secondary School in the Art Department. He also enjoyed many years working with Gabriel Kney Pipe Organ Builders Ltd. A man of deep faith, Art was a founding member of Fairmont United Church. He also spent many pleasant hours sailing as a member of the Fanshawe Yacht Club. Throughout his life, Art enjoyed his time with family and many friends. A gentle, thoughtful and kind man, Art will be missed by many. Special thanks to the Paisley nurses and staff at The Elliott Community for their exceptional and compassionate care.
