He is also survived by sisters-in-law Carole and Jenny. He is also survived by Aunt Esther, nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends of the family; Lynda, Morley Haynes and Susan McKay, who visited Gramps every week. Jack was predeceased by his wonderful wives Edwina, Lou, Dorothy and Joan as well as step son Ron Taylor, daughter Susan, brothers Noel, Jerry and Gord and sister in law Marg. Jack served overseas during the Second World War and was on the London Fire Department for 31 years and retired as a District Chief. Jack was one of the oldest firefighters in London and was retired for 31 years. The family would like to thank No. 7 Fire Hall for coming to Jack’s 90th and brother Gord’s 80th birthday (born 10 years apart on the same day, July 5) and his firefighter friends Harold Wilkins, Wayne Hauser and Jim Fitzgerald. It was a wonderful event and will never be forgotten. Gramps enjoyed watching his sports and golf and we enjoyed all his stories of his life. He will be missed by his dogs Lily and Toby. Visitation will be held in the Needham Funeral Home (520 Dundas St., London) on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm with the funeral service to be held in the Chapel on Tuesday January 15, 2013 at 12 noon. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. Gramps was very good to family and friends and in memory of him, the family would ask that you do a kindness to others in his memory.
