With great sadness we announce the passing of Lorna on May 2nd, in Victoria, BC. Lorna is predeceased by her first husband John Kilgore, and her brother Ross McGugan. She is survived by her husband John Evans, her daughter Cheryl (Tony), her six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Born and raised in Lobo Township, Lorna married John Kilgore, and, together with their daughter, had many adventures with the military including four years in Germany. After his passing in 1985, Lorna married John Evans, and with him she continued her adventures from Ottawa to Parksville, BC, and finally to Victoria. Lorna worked for many years with the federal government, loved singing, and was very involved in her church and community choirs. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all. There will be a private family service and internment at Woodland Cemetery in London, Ontario.
