I am very saddened to hear of Betty's passing. Between my mother (Pat Milton) and my aunts (Donna Milton and Sandra Milton), I always heard such fascinating stories that somehow always involved Betty. I also had the pleasure of conversing with her on the city bus when I was en route to my university classes some years ago. It was always such a pleasure to speak with Betty. I admired her complexion and she was kind enough to share her secret with me - I still use it to this day. :)

Although I have a vague recollection of Sharon's name...it was in my teens, about 45 years ago!  

I met Betty at a laundromat of all places, a few years ago, two different ones in fact, one on Hamilton Road, now closed, and PJ's on Adelaide.  We started chatting one day and we'd continue each time we'd see one another discussing everything from family to world affairs.  

John Clinton, a long- time friend of mine was connected to your family and it was John who let me know of Betty's passing.

We were very saddened to hear of the passing of betty.  we got to know betty at the dearness home, were my mother lives. every saturday like clock work betty would be coming through the doors with her smiling face bidding us a good morning.  then off to the cafe asking "whats the soup of the day". her table and chair were always waiting for her.  she will be missed deeply by the tuck shop and cafe staff. then also came to find out her daughter bonnie and son-in-law teri lived in our bldg. across the hall from us.  one day my husand called me out to the hall to see who was living amongst us.  "Betty" i was surprised.
i had the pleasure of helping her out with her apt. key.  one sun. as her and mary( the lady that took betty to church) didn\t have the strength to open the apt door.
mary was the lady that presented betty with the yellow roses at the service, along with a loving goodbye speech.
they say everything is for a reason, for that was the last time i saw betty.

i would like to say to the family "peace off" bettys words.

We were saddened to hear of Betty's passing but know that she is home with the Lord where she longed to be.  Our thoughts and prayers are with all of her family.  Jack & I had the privilege of knowing Betty as part of our church family for many years.  She was always smiling and asking how we were doing despite how she may have been feeling.  Such a kind and compassionate lady she was.  Betty will be missed.  We pray her family will take comfort in knowing she is in a far better place.

I have known Betty since about 1985, and I would meet her at various church and city functions.  She was such a clever and knowledgeable person, everyone really liked Betty, and she will be sadly missed at the places where she used to go.
