Betty Jane Colwell

Betty was born in Leeds, Iowa. She moved to Long Beach CA in 1940. She married James F Colwell in May 1942. They lived in Long Beach then moved to Hemet CA. After her beloved husband passed away,Betty moved to Leisure World in Seal Beach CA. She is survived by her nephew Bob Green and wife, Marie; Great Nieces; Melissa Green ,Teresa Green & Kimberly Green. Great Nephew Robert J. Green. Nephew, Scott Dolan and wife Candy, Nieces; Shelley Colazas and John Colazas, Pamela Kilroy and husband Larry, 2 Great Nieces; Katy and Kim, 3 Great Nephews Joe, Sam and Shaun. Betty was a loving wife, a devoted Catholic and favorite "Aunt" to many. She will be missed by all. Services are at Luyben Family Dilday-Mottell Mortuary 161 E. Arbor Rd. Long Beach CA ..the VIEWING is Friday Nov. 16, 2012 from 5:00pm-8:00pm with the ROSARY in between from 6:30pm to 7:15pm...FUNERAL:Saturday Nov. 17, 2012 at 11am.....INTERNMENT: Sat. Nov. 17, 2012..at 12:30pm at All Souls Cemetery 4400 Cherry Ave. Long Beach. A CELEBRATION OF BETTY'S LIFE has been planned for Sat. November 17, from 1:30pm to 4:30pm at ClubHouse # 3 at Leisure World in Seal Beach.
