Edith Marie King was born September 9, 1921 in Los Angeles, CA and died December 10, 2010 in Long Beach, CA. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Red A. and Anna Goetz-King and her brother, John A. King. Edith taught school for fifty years, mostly at State Street Elementary School in Southgate, CA, 2nd and 3rd grades. She enjoyed her retirement years with her extended family and friends. She is survived by the Jackson, Frost and Arnold families. Rosary will be recited at the Luyben Family Dilday-Mottell Mortuary on Monday, December 27, 2010, 6:00 p.m. Her funeral is Tuesday, December 28, 2010, St. Pancratius Catholic Church, 10:00 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
