Frances Eleanor Grant

Frances was born the second to the last of thirteen children of Thomas and Mary Wicklascz in Isanti County, MN She attended the nearby one-room school through the eighth grade. She came out to California with two of her sisters and was working in a grocery store when she meet her husband Paul Grant Jr. There were married for 50 years before he passed away in 1996 of lung cancer. They made Lakewood their home and were the first owner of the house on Carfax which they still owned until 2014. They had four children Barbara Boano (Jim), Pauline Adams (Joe), Beverly Stanley, and John Grant (Rochelle). They also had eight grandkids Pattee Gatica, Jimmy Boano, Timeri Pavia (Roger), Christine Mireles, Linda Donoghue (Mike), Tommy Stanley, Sara Burkett (Mike) and John Michael Grant (Jennifer). And sixteen grand grandkids Brad Fraser, Chloe Gatica, John Gatica, Lucy Gatica, Bailey Brodbeck, Delaney Pavia, Callie Pavia, Maile Mireles, Mia Mireles, Pierce Donoghue, Reagan Donoghue, Brianna Burkett, Tyler Burkett, Elizabeth Burkett, Allison Burkett and Xavier Grant. She also leaves two sisters Betty Jones and Marcella Videen in MN.
